EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN CARGAR UN REACTOR (1) CON UNA PARTIDA DE MINERAL DE HIERRO; SOMETER A ESTE MINERAL A UN PROCESO DE REDUCCION INSUFLANDO EN EL REACTOR GASES CALIENTES DE REDUCCION Y GASES DE ENFRIAMIENTO A TRAVES DE LAS BOCAS (11, 12) RESPECTIVAS DEL MISMO; Y VERIFICAR SIMULTANEAMENTE LOS AUMENTOS DEL CONTENIDO DE HIERRO Y EL CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA EN EL MINERAL A MEDIDA QUE LOS GASES LO ATRAVIESAN, PARA SALIR AL EXTERIOR POR LAS BOCAS (13) INFERIORES DEL REACTOR. CUANDO TODO EL MINERAL SE HA TRANSFORMADO EN NODULOS, EL PROCESO SE TERMINA. EL SISTEMA DE CONTROL SE LLEVA A EFECTO INSTALANDO UNA SERIE DE BOBINAS DETECTORAS (14, 15, 16, 17).
