REACCION DEL MIRCENO CON UNA AMIDA SECUNDARIA, OBTENIENDOSE UNA GERANILAMINA; LA REACCION TIENE LUGAR EN PRESENCIA DE UN METAL ALCALINO. 2. HIDRATACION Y ALQUILACION DEL PRODUCTO ANTERIOR EN CUALQUIER SECUENCIA DESEADA SEGUIDO DE UN TRATAMIENTO CON UNA BASE FUERTE, OBTENIENDOSE EL HIDROXIDO AMONICO CUATERNARIO DE E-3,7-DIMETIL-7-HIDROXI-2-OCTEN-1-IL. 3. SOMETIMIENTO DEL COMPUESTO ANTERIOR A LAS CONDICIONES DE ELIMINACION DE HOFMANN, CON LO QUE SE OBTIENE UNA MEZCLA DE MIRCENOL Y CIS-OCIMENOL.
