BASADO EN QUE EL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE SE PRESENTA EN FORMA DE PARTICULAS CARGADAS DE DOS COMPONENTES VOLATILES DE ESTABILIDADES TERMICAS DIFERENTES Y CARACTERIZADO POR PROVOCAR LA CALCINACION DE UNO DE LOS COMPUESTOS, EN UNA PRIMERA COLUMNA DE CONTACTO, SIENDO DICHO MATERIAL ARRASTRADO EN SUSPENSION POR UNA CORRIENTE DE GAS OXIDANTE, SIENDO SEPARADA UNA PARTE A SU SALIDA Y, POR OTRA PARTE, EL GAS DE ARRASTRE Y LOS PRODUCTOS GASEOSOS PROCEDENTES DE LA PRIMERA COLUMNA; MIENTRAS QUE EN LA SEGUNDA SE PROVOCA EL ENFRIAMIENTO DE PARTE DE DICHO MATERIAL PARCIALMENTE DEPURADO Y PONIENDOLO EN SUSPENSION ES ARRASTRADO POR UNA PARTE DE LOS GASES SOLIDOS DE LA PRIMERA, SIENDO ENFRIADOS DE MANERA QUE SE READSORBAN EN LA SEGUNDA COLUMNA LOS NO ABSORBIDOS EN LA PRIMERA, SIENDO VERTIDOS AL EXTERIOR PREVIO FILTRADO.
