Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de objetos de metal recubiertos, compuestos de una matriz de esmalte de silicato de boro alcalino libre de plomo, de poros cerrados, reticuladora del sustrato de metal, conteniendo como máximo un 18% en peso de B2O3, referido al esmalte, en el que se han dispersado entre un 5 y 35% en peso de partículas de aleación de aluminio parcialmente oxidado o bien de aluminio-cobre y entre un 10 y 40% en peso, en cada caso referido al recubrimiento, de partículas de como mínimo un material oxidico, inorgánico, estable a la temperatura, caracterizado porque de una frita de esmalte estable a los ácidos, capaz de adhesión directa sobre chapa de acero, con una temperatura de plastificación inferior a 520ºC y un material oxidico inorgánico libre de plomo y boro, con una temperatura de plastificación superior a 600ºC, bajo adición de agua, arcilla y sales de ajuste, por molturación se prepara una suspensión acuosa, ésta se estabiliza mediante sustancias de tampón hidrosoluble en un margen pH entre 5,5 y 7,5 y se mezcla con polvos de aleación de aluminio o bien de aluminio-cobre, el lodo obtenido se aplica sobre materiales metálicos, previamente tratados en la forma usual por desengrasado y decapado, por inmersión o pulverización se seca y se cochura a temperaturas de 760 hasta 900ºC.
