Abstract

Procedimiento de revestimiento de hornos electrometalúrgicos, y en particular, de cubas para la producción de aluminio por electrólisis de alúmina disuelta en criolita fundida, caracterizado por las siguientes etapas: se toma con aglutinante un cemento de fraguado de poca retención de agua y de débil porosidad abierta, después del fraguado; se le añade un agregado del que al menos una fracción está constituida por un producto carbonado y la otra fracción está constituida por un producto no carbonado; se añade una cantidad de agua que no sobrepasa del 10 % y, preferentemente, del 6 % de la composición seca; y se aplica el hormigón así obtenido.
