Abstract
Perfeccionamientos introducidos en un neumático de desarrollo impuesto bajo un presión de inflado igual a la presión de servicio y susceptible de resistir a una presión de prueba múltiplo de la presión de servicio, caracterizados porque el neumático incluye, como es en sí conocido, una armadura de carcasa con elementos de refuerzo radiales, anclada a por lo menos una varilla en cada talón y, radialmente en el exterior de la armadura de carcasa, una armadura de corona formada por al menos una faja de elementos de refuerzo paralelos, siendo dicha armadura de corona elástica y extensible en la dirección circunferencial del neumático, siendo tal dicha armadura de corona que, estando el neumático montado sobre una llanta normal y desprovisto de carga, a) cuando la presión de inflado está próxima a 10% de la presión de servicio del neumático, los diámetros del neumático en el ecuador y en los hombros son inferiores a los mismos diámetros impuestos bajo una presión de inflado igual a la presión deservicio, y la anchura axial máxima del neumático es superior a la misma anchura impuesta bajo una presión de inflado igual a la presión de servicio, y, b) cuando la presión de inflado es igual a la presión de prueba, el alargamiento de la armadura de corona en la dirección circunferencial del neumático con relación a la longitud de ésta, cuando la presión de inflado es próxima a 10% de la presión de servicio es tal, que la armadura de carcasa alcanza aproximadamente su perfil de equilibrio natural.
