Abstract

Proceso para la producción de lactulosa, caracterizado porque en su realización comprende tratar en caliente y a reflujo una solución acuosa saturada de monohidrato de lactosa con un fosfito alcalino y someter a una etapa de purificación la lactulosa presente en la solución obtenida pasando dicha solución, sucesivamente, por una resina de intercambio catiónico y una resina de intercambio aniónico, separando eventualmente la lactosa no transformada por cromatografía sobre gel de sílice y evaporando el eluido para obtener la lactulosa en estado solido.
