Procedimiento para la obtención de medios para combatir selectivamente las hierbas malas en los cultivos de plantas útiles, caracterizado porque, en una primera etapa 1,2,3,4- tetrahidroisoquinolina se hace reaccionar con cloruro dicloroacetílico, en caso dado en presencia de un aceptor de ácido así como, en caso dado, en presencia de un diluyente y la N-dicloroacetil-1,2,3,4-tetrahidro-isoquinolina que así se forma, de fórmula **(Fórmula)**
