Abstract
Un aparato para explorar por puntos una superficie de información, en particular un aparato para leer un soporte de registro con una estructura de información ópticamente legible, cuyo aparato comprende una fuente de radiación, un sistema de objetivo de iluminación para enfocar el haz de exploración emitido por la fuente de radiación en un punto o traza de exploración sobre la superficie de información , y un sistema de objetivo de observación para concentrar la radiación procedente de la superficie de información sobre el plano de un sistema de detección sensible a la radiación, caracterizado porque el sistema de objetivo de observación está dispuesto asimétricamente con relación al subhaz de orden cero de la radiación que procede de la superficie está constituido por un detector cuya dimensión en la dirección de exploración es pequeña.
