Abstract

The two channel air conditioning system is for railway coaches. It can consist of the main channel with the base permanently in a central air current with regulated temp. by thermostat. The second, supplementary channel takes an air current to each compartmtne and is regulated by thermostats in the compartment. In the compartment floor there are air outlet holes, joined to the main channel on the window side of the coach. The air duct is made by an intermediate panel, parallel to the coach window side. A valve regulates air admission to the compartment.
