Abstract

Un método de electrólisis que consiste en hacer pasar una corriente eléctrica a través de un electrólito acuoso que contiene iones de cloruro entre un ánodo y un cátodo , mediante lo cual se forma gas de oxígeno en el ánodo y el catión se hace reaccionar en el cátodo junto con le evolución de gas de hidrógeno, consistiendo el ánodo de un substrato eléctricamente conductor que lleva por lo menos en una porción de la superficie del mismo, un revestimiento de dióxido de manganeso amorfo.
