Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de un material de fibra orgánico ignífugo, caracterizado porque un material de fibra sintética, o celulósica, o sus mezclas, en particular constituido por fibras de poliacrilonitrilo, poliéster, poliéster-celulosa o celulosa, se trata preferentemente por el método de fulardeo, con una solución acuosa que contiene preferentemente 25 a 500 gr por litro de una sal de ácido fosfónico de la fórmula general **(Fórmula)** en la que R significa metilo o etilo y M(+) significa un catión de metal alcalino o de amonio, y en particular metilfosfonato monoamánico, secando a continuación el material de fibra tratado a una temperatura preferentemente comprendida entre 60° y 100°C.
