Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención continua de monoisocianatos de fórmula R-NCO donde R significa un resto hidrocarburo alifático, en caso dado olefínicamente insaturado, con h hasta 3 átomos de carbono, por disociación térmica del correspondiente N-alquibarbamidato de arilo de fórmula R-NH-CO-O-R'' donde R tiene el significado arriba mencionada y R'' significa un resto tal y como se obtiene por eliminación del grupo hidroxilo de un monofenol con un punto de ebullición a presión normal inferior a 250ºC y separación destilativa de los productos de disociación caracterizado porque a) una solución del N-alquilcarbamidato de arilo a disociar se calienta en un disolvente orgánico inerte bajo las condiciones de reacción con un punto de ebullición que se encuentra como mínimo 20ºC por encima del punto de ebullición del monoisocianato a formar, a presión normal o a presión ligeramente más reducida , en la zona de 200 hasta 1013 mbar, bajo disociación del éster en el correspondiente monoisocianato y en el correspondiente fenol, así, como bajo evaporación del disolvente y de los productos de disociación, a una temperatura en el margen de 160 hasta 250ºC y b) los vapores obtenidos según a) se conducen conjuntamente a una columna de destilación de la que se obtiene el fenol y como mínimo la cantidad principal del disolvente en forma de una corriente lateral común o en forma de varias corrientes laterales, y el monoisocianato, en caso dado junto con una parte del disolvente, a través de la cabeza.
