Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar sulfonato de magnesio sobrebasificado, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: (a) mezclar un compuesto de ácido sulfónico soluble en aceite, que contiene de 1 a 100% en peso aproximadamente de sulfonato amónico soluble en aceite, un exceso estequiométrico, basado en el compuesto de ácido sulfónico, de un compuesto de magnesio hidratable, agua, un alcanol inferior y al menos un diluyente sustancialmente inerte; (b) calentar la composición para hidratar el compuesto de magnesio; (c) terminada la hidratación, calentar la mezcla para separar prácticamente todo el alcanol inferior; y (d) añadir entonces un material acídico a la mezcla a una temperatura comprendida entre 27 y 68ºC aproximadamente, para formar una suspensión de magnesio amorfa.
