Abstract

Freno de disco perfeccionado que comprende un estribo dispuesto a caballo sobre un disco a una y otra parte del cual están dispuestas guarniciones de fricción susceptibles de ser desplazadas axialmente por al menos un pistón montado deslizante en un cilindro solidario el estribo, bien bajo la acción de una presión hidráulica, bien por un mando mecánico, estando prevista una holgura de funcionamiento para permitir un retroceso límite de las guarniciones de fricción durante la supresión de esta presión o de este mando, comprendiendo este último mando un tornillo de paso grande montado a rotación en el cilindro y una tuerca roscada sobre este tornillo y unida al pistón por un dispositivo de acoplamiento constituido por una superficie dentada realizada sobre la cara de la tuerca vuelta hacia el fondo del pistón y que coopera con una superficie dentada de un anillo solidario en rotación de este pistón, caracterizado porque el dispositivo de acoplamiento que une la tuerca al anillo es, de maneraen sí conocida, un acoplamiento unidireccional, y porque la tuerca es móvil en traslación con relación al pistón únicamente en una distancia limitada correspondiente a la holgura del funcionamiento ya mencionada mientras que el anillo puede desplazarse axialmente con relación a este pistón.
