Abstract

Método para realizar la soldadura fuerte sin fundente de piezas de aluminio, caracterizado porque consiste en: (a) preparar y relacionar estructuralmente las unas con las otras las piezas de metal de base que consisten en aluminio o en una aleación del mismo para formar un conjunto, (b) depositar una aleación de metal de relleno en los emplazamientos de unión de dicho conjunto, teniendo dicha aleación de metal de relleno una base de aluminio y conteniendo un agente promotor y de absorción de gases elegido en el grupo que consiste en magnesio, metales de tierras raras, berilio, escandio, itrio, calcio, estroncio y litio. © someter dicho conjunto y el metal de relleno depositado a calentamiento mientras están en un ambiente inerte o de vacío reducido, estando caracterizado dicho vacío reducido, cuando se utiliza, por una presión inferior a 10 elevado a -3 Torr, aplicándose dicho calor de tal manera que cuando el conjunto experimenta una temperatura en la gama de 400-590ºC, la velocidad de calentamiento sea por lo menos de 100ºC/minuto, con lo cual el período de tiempo durante el cual dicho conjunto está en dicha gama de temperatura crítica es inferior a 2 minutos, (d) continuar dicho calentamiento más allá de dicha gama crítica para realizar la gama fuerte.
