Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de una composición adhesiva sensible a la presión que incluye a razón de 30 a 50% aproximadamente del peso de la composición total, una mezcla elastómera que consiste en caucho natural y poliisobutileno, a razón de 5 a 20% aproximadamente del peso de la composición total, un componente plastificante líquido, y a razón de 30 a 50% aproximadamente del peso de la composición total, un componente promotor de pegajosidad sólido y, opcionalmente, otros materiales elegidos entre el grupo que consiste en agentes de relleno, antioxidantes, estabilizadores, plastificantes, pigmentos de coloración y mezclas de estos materiales; cuyo procedimiento comprende: a) situar las proporciones deseadas de caucho natural y de poliisobutileno en un mezclador tipo banbury durante 5 minutos aproximadamente; b) a continuación, adicionar el componente plastificante líquido durante 10 minutos aproximadamente, manteniendo la temperatura entre 100 y 150ºC aproximadamente; c) colocarla composición resultante en un molino de laminación de dos cilindros ajustando la temperatura de los cilindros a un valor comprendido entre 90 y 100ºC aproximadamente e iniciar el combinado durante 5 minutos aproximadamente; d) adicionar, a continuación, la proporción adecuada del agente promotor de la pegajosidad sólido y elevar la temperatura hasta un valor comprendido entre 115º y 125ºC aproximadamente en el cilindro delantero y hasta un valor comprendido posterior, durante 10 minutos aproximadamente para producir el adhesivo sensible a la presión.
