Abstract

Method of producing the antibiotic c-15003 p-o. Many soil samples and others have been collected, and they have made a selection of the microorganisms isolated from such samples. By said selection it was found that some of the microorganisms were able to produce a new antibiotic, that such microorganisms belonged to the genus norcadia, and that cultivating any of those microorganisms in a suitable medium could cause said antibiotic to accumulate in the culture broth. .
