Abstract

Método de obtención de un perfil indicativo de la calidad del material de una bobina de tira de acero en toda la longitud de la misma, en el que la bobina puede ser cortada para separar secciones de material que se desvían de un nivel establecido y predeterminado, cuyo método comprende las operaciones de: magnetizar una tira continua de material móvil a un nivel específico de magnetización, efectuar una primera lectura de voltaje indicativa de la magnetización inducida en dicha tira de material móvil, efectuar una segunda lectura de voltaje indicativa de la magnetización inducida en la tira de material móvil para proporcionar una salida de voltaje diferente de la primera lectura del mismo, efectuándose dichas lecturas primera y segunda sustancialmente sobre la misma porción de la tira de material, de tal manera que la segunda lectura no exceda selectivamente del 90% de la primera, y obtener una relación entre la primera lectura y la diferencia entre la primera y segunda lecturas, para proporcionar así una lectura continua indicativa de dicha relación para todas las posiciones de la mencionada tira.
