Abstract

Un procedimiento de preparación de aceite especial de alta calidad que tiene un punto de fluidez crítica no superior a aproximadamente -34ºC a partir de petróleo crudo parafínico, que comprende separar de dicho crudo parafínico una fracción de destilado del mismo que tiene un punto de ebullición inicial de, por lo menos, aproximadamente 232ºC y un punto de ebullición final menor de aproximadamente 566ºC, extraer dicha fracción de destilado con un disolvente selectivo de hidrocarburos aromáticos para dar lugar a un refinado del que han sido separados los compuestos indeseables, desparafinar catalíticamente el refinado mezclándole con hidrógeno y poniendo en contacto la mezcla a una temperatura de 260 a 357ºC con un catalizador que comprende una zeolita de aluminosilicato que posee una proporción de sílice/alúmina superior a 12 y un índice de restricción comprendido entre 1 y 12, convirtiendo con ello la parafina contenida en el refinado en hidrocarburos de punto de ebullición más bajo, tratar con hidrógeno el refinado desparafinado poniendo en contacto la mezcla con hidrógeno con un catalizador que comprende un componente de hidrogenación sobre un soporte no ácido, a una temperatura comprendida entre 218 y 316ºC, y separar productos de cabeza del refinado subsiguiente al desparafinado para retirar de él componentes de peso molecular bajo.
