Abstract

Proceso para la producción de sustancia MC 696 SY 2-A, que consiste en cultivar una cepa de "Streptomyces fulvoviridis" MC 696 - SY 2 (identificada por FERM-P 1504 o ATCC 21954) para producir y acumular la sustancia MC 696 - SY 2-A en el medio de cultivo, y recuperar después esta sustancia del caldo de cultivo que contiene la sustancia MC 696- SY 2-A mientras es mantenida esta sustancia bajo la forma de una sal de sustancia MC 696 - SY 2-A después de convertir dicha sustancia en la sal en una fase apropiada anterior del proceso de recuperación y purificación.
