Abstract
Método de producir una estructura de grano fino en alambres laminados, caracterizado porque el alambre, durante la operación de laminado, es enfriado directamente, después de dejar el par de rodillos acabadores de la laminadora, con agua y/o aire de una manera controlada de modo que se suprima el crecimiento de grano y de forma que se obtenga una estructura de grano fino de alambre laminado que consista en acero inoxidable y destinada a la fabricación de alambre estirado para resortes y para cables de alta resistencia mecánica y alta ductilidad, conteniendo dicho alambre 0,04- 0,07% de C, 18-19% de Cr y 8-9% de Ni, correspondiendo un contenido de Cr de 18% a un contenido de Ni de 8, 0-8, 8% cuando el contenido de C es de 0,04% y a un contenido de Ni de 3,8-9,5% cuando el contenido de C es de 0,07% y correspondiendo un contenido de Cr de 19% a un contenido de Ni inferior a 8,3% cuando al contenido de C es de 0,04% y a un contenido de Ni de 8,4-9,2% cuando el contenido de C es de 0,07%, siendo el tamaño de grano de dicho alambre 8-13 ASTM, preferentemente 10-12 ASTM.
