Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de elementos componentes de cables para telecomunicaciones, consistentes en una o varias fibras ópticas contenidas flojamente dentro de un manguito, caracterizado por el hecho de comprender las operaciones de: alimentación con movimiento uniforme de un manguito previamente extruido y estabilizado; aplicación de una primera tracción a una zona del manguito, para poner en tensión la parte de manguito curso arriba e imprimir recorrido rectilíneo a la parte de manguito curso abajo; corte longitudinal y sin solución de continuidad del manguito, con una profundidad igual a una sola vez el espesor del mismo dentro del plano de corte; una primera desviación o separación mutua de los bordes que se forman, inmediatamente curso abajo del punto de aplicación del esfuerzo de corte; inserción dentro del tubo y a través de la separación, de al menos dicha fibra o fibras, que también son desplazadas con movimiento uniforme; reacercamiento de los bordes aprovechando la elasticidad del material del manguito y al menos curso abajo de la inserción de la fibra o las fibras, pero curso arriba de la zona de aplicación de la tracción, y recogida del manguito con la fibra o las fibras insertas, que constituye el elemento unitario.
