Abstract

The relays has an excitation coil on a base plate, with the coil axis parallel to the plate. A swinging armature, which is approximately perpendicular to the base plate, carries a bridge contact to which at least one contact strip is attached, whic extends towards the base plate. This contact interacts with at least one fixed contact on the base plate. The relay has an indicating lever (21) in the form of a plastics strip or plate which is hinged on the base plate (14) with its axis of rotation parallel to that of the armature (5). It is coupled with the armature (5) or bridge contact (7) at a point between the excitation coil (1) axis (X-X) and the fixed contact (11) on the baseplate. The other end of the lever (21) extending beyond the excitation coil (1) axis serves as the indicator.
