Abstract
Un dispositivo indicador de temperatura que comprende un soporte conductor del calor que tiene una o más regiones separadas definidas en él para determinar un número análogo de temperaturas predeterminadas en un intervalo predeterminado de temperaturas, con un número análogo de diferentes composiciones de materia que responden a la temperatura, definidas en él y contenidas por unos medios transparentes de cubierta en lámina en ajuste hermético con el soporte, estando depositada una sola composición de materia en cada una de dichas regiones y estando asociada esta composición de materia con una sola de dichas temperaturas predeterminadas, consistiendo esencialmente la composición de materia utilizada como medio que responde a la temperatura en al menos: (1) un disolvente (I) que consta de una sola sustancia o una mezcla de sustancia y está adaptado para cambiar de un estado sólido a sustancialmente una temperatura predeterminada a un estado líquido, y (2) un sistema indicador (II) que constade una o más sustancias diferentes de (I), en donde (a) (II) es soluble en (I) cuando este último está en fase líquida, y (b) (II) cambia de color de modo visible a simple vista cuando (I) pasa a la fase sólida a la fase líquida o de fase líquida a sólida.
