Abstract
Los datos presentados en la siguiente Tabla I resumen los ensayos efectuados sobre emisión en el escape del vehículo y economía de combustible. Las emisiones en el escape se presentan en gamos por milla para el total de hidrocarburos, monóxido de carbono y óxidos de nitrógeno. Las mediciones sobre economía de combustible se muestran en millas por galón. También se incluyen los patrones federales 1976 aplicables de emisión en el escape para vehículos de trabajos ligeros. Comparando los dos grupo de resultados de ensayo, el uso del aditivo de Mezcla MSX, mezclado con el combustible en el tanque, redujo el monóxido de carbono e hidrocarburos, al tiempo que incrementó los óxidos nitrógeno. Además, la economía de combustible aumentó de 8,72 a 10,65 MPG.
