Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar un material termoplástico expandido, que comprende calentar en una o más etapas una composición expandible que comprende: (a) un material polímero termoplástico, azodicarbonamida, 0,0005 a 5% en peso, basado en el peso de azodicarbonamida, de al menos un compuesto de cobalto elegido entre sales y óxidos de cobalto, y 0,005-5% en peso, basado en el peso de azodicarbonamida, de al menos un compuesto de cinc elegido entre sales y óxidos de cinc, hasta una temperatura por encima del punto de ablandamiento del material polímero termoplástico, para causar la descomposición de la azodicarbonamida y la expansión de la composición.
