Process for the reaction of organosilicon compounds with at least one silicon-nitrogen bond with anhydrides of polyvalent organic or inorganic acids characterized in that the reaction is carried out in the presence of 0.1 to 5% by weight (based on organosilicon compounds) of catalysts anionically active, which in a solution at a maximum of 1% decrease the surface tension of the water to a value of >= 50 mn. M-1 or its derivatives not soluble with water, and the catalysts belonging to one of the following groups: a) monoesters or diesters of sulfuric acid; b) onium salts derived from nitrogen of the monoesters of sulfuric acid; c) fluoroalkyl sulfonic acids, alkylsulfonic acids, alkylarylsulfonic acids or their onium salts derived from nitrogen; d) alkoxy or trialkoxylsilyl esters of the acids mentioned in c).
