Abstract

Belt conveyor has sets of support rollers (1) which raise the two belt edges above its centre (2). The support rollers (1) are connected by chain links (3) and the two outside ends (6) are anchored to two fixed support channels (11). In order to lower the three support rollers (1) away from the belt (12), in case of bearing damage, the two chain anchors (8, 9) are made adjustable. The anchor assembly consists of a tubular bush (9) which is welded to the channel section (11) and an anchor bolt (8) which is located inside the bush. Cross holes (10) in bush and bolt, and a lock pin allow axial adjustment on the anchor assembly.
