Abstract

Una batería de plomo ácido capaz de ser activada por la adición de electrólito a la misma que incluye al menos, un paquete de placas de baterías positivas y negativas, formadas, con interposición de separadores aislantes entre placas adyacentes, siendo retenido por la batería parte del ácido sulfúrico usado para formar las placas y teniendo una gravedad específica comprendida entre 1,25 y 1,35 siendo la cantidad de dicho ácido retenido insuficiente para conectar eléctricamente las placas durante el almacenamiento, y medios para sellar la batería evitando la entrada de aire pero permitiendo que se escape los gases generados en la batería
