Abstract
Mejoras introducidas en el objeto de la patente principal nº 438.459, por: un método de producción de placas para baterías de plomo ácido, capaces dichas baterías de ser activadas mediante la adición de electrólito a la misma, que comprenden los pasos consistentes en: a) partir de un recipiente de batería que contiene al menos un paquete de rejillas para placas de batería con interposición de separadores aislantes entre rejillas adyacentes, llevando cada una de dichas rejillas la pasta para baterías de plomo-ácido necesaria para producir una placa de batería positiva o negativa después de la conversión de la pasta en el material activo de la placa, b) con las rejillas sumergidas en una solución acuosa de ácido sulfúrico, pasar una corriente eléctrica entre las rejillas con el fin de que la solución se eleva a una temperatura superior a 82,2ºC pero no superior a 98,8ºC, sirviendo el paso de la corriente eléctrica para convertir la pasta de las rejillas en el material activo de las placas, c)interrumpir el paso de la corriente eléctrica cuando se ha convertido suficiente pasta para dotar a las placas de una carga superior al 50% del valor final requerido, d) dejar las placas en reposo en dicha solución por lo menos durante 15 minutos, e) repetir el paso de una corriente eléctrica con el fin de producir una carga sobre las placas del valor requerido, y posteriormente f) escurrir la solución de ácido sulfúrico de las placas y después sellar herméticamente el recipiente para impedir la entrada de aire.
