Abstract

Un método mejorado para el empalme de fibras ópticas entre un extremo de una primera fibra óptica y un extremo de una segunda fibra óptica de la misma sección transversal que la primera, cuyo método de empalme incluye la provisión de un manguito de cristal que tiene un orificio en el que las fibras ajustan con posibilidad de desplazamiento la colocación en la zona central del orificio del manguito de una pieza de enlace de fibra óptica de cristal, con una sección transversal igual a la de la primera y la segunda fibra óptica y con una longitud menor que la del manguito.
