Abstract

Reactor nuclear de neutrones rápidos, que comporta, en el interior de un tanque principal de eje vertical, suspendido por su parte superior abierta de una losa de protección gruesa que cierra una envolvente que rodea este tanque, un volumen de un metal líquido de refrigeración; que asimismo incluye dispuesto igualmente dentro de este tanque principal, un tanque interno de paredes cilíndricas que contiene el núcleo del reactor, sumergido bajo el nivel del metal líquido; de suerte que el espacio intermedio entre el tanque principal y el tanque interno comporta una serie de cambiadores de calor y de bombas, sumergidos bajo el nivel del metal líquido.
