Abstract

The adhesive lable applicator is esp. designed for applying one-side covered adhesive lables on bay's napkins, napkin pants, sanitary towels, etc. by which an endless adhesive strip (4) is withdrawn from a supply roll, covered with a weakly adhering cover strip (7) cut into individual labels before being placed on the goods. An additional weakly adhering strip (14) is applied to the side of the adhesive strip which is to be subsequently applied to the product and is peeled off directly before reaching the cutting unit (12). The additional strip after its withdrawal is, for example recoiled and later used as the cover strip (7).
