Abstract

Un procedimiento para la producción del compuesto antibiótico MSD 890 A que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) cultivar una cepa de Streptomyces flavogriseus en un medio nutritivo acuoso que contiene fuentes asimilables de carbono, nitrógeno y sales inorgánicas, en condiciones aerobias sumergidas, a una temperatura comprendida entre 20 y 37ºC aproximadamente y a un pH comprendido entre 6,0 y 8,0 aproximadamente; b) recuperar el compuesto 890 A2 y/o el 890 A5 de dicho medio de cultivo.
