Abstract
Prepn. of aq. suspensions of fertilisers by adding diammonium phosphate (40-100 kg/100 litre of water) then adding phosphoric acid to give N/P2O5 ratio soluble in water of 0.27-0.4, adding to the suspension an argile, pref. attapulgite at 5.5-11 kg/100 ml of water then opt. adding KCl and nitrogeneous material to the suspension. A typical stable fertiliser suspension was prepd. by assing (NH4)2 HPO4 (265 kg) to water (223 kg) followed by H3PO4 (41 kg), ehtn argile (20 kg), KCl (177 kg) was added followed by 274 kg/1000 kg of a mixt. of NH4NO3 (420kg) and urea (33pkg). No settling or crystal growth occurs during transport or storage.
