Abstract

Un método para producción y empaquetado en una sola etapa de unidades de dosificación en forma sólida, que comprende el paso de mezclar un componente farmacéutico activo constituido por una o varias sustancias activas con una sustancia vehículo que es sólida a la temperatura ambiente pero líquida cuando se calienta, y transferir la mezcla fundida a una línea de flujo de plástico, metal, o celulosa, que puede estar constituida por un material exclusivamente o por más de un material combinado formando un estratificado, que lleva cavidades premoldeadas que corresponden a las unidades de dosificación deseadas, y que sirve como empaquetamiento para las tabletas, seguido por cerrar herméticamente el paquete resultante con hoja delgada de recubrimiento.
