641,175. Moulding suppositories. KUBIK, A. A. J. Aug. 14, 1947, Nos. 22631 and 22632. Convention dates, Aug. 14, 1946, and May 24, 1947. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group VI] A container for a suppository forms the mould in which it is cast and a number of such moulds are arranged in a row on a common support and closed by a strip of paper, fabric or other suitable material. In one form a number of gelatine containers 1 are carried on a continuous strip 17 which may be channelled to give rigidity. The closure member consists of a strip 18 of gelatine, adhesive paper or fabric covering all the suppositories in the row, and having a projecting tab 11 by which it is pulled off before use, exposing the suppositories one at a time. Each is squeezed out of its mould when required. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also describes a single gelatine mould having a flanged rim to which a disc of gelatine is applied as a cover and which is sealed by the application of heat. It also describes the arrangement of moulds in two straight rows on a common support which is folded along the centre line between the rows to facilitate packing. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
