Abstract

Método de preparar una composición útil para tratar quemaduras, que comprende las operaciones de formar una mezcla de vaselina, alcohol graso insoluble en agua de C16-C22, emoliente y agente emulsificante, preferiblemente no iónico, e incorporar en la misma o mezclar con ella un agente de conservación y agua, con lo que se forma una emulsión hidrófila o una emulsión resultante sulfadiazina de plata y un compuesto de cerio soluble en agua junto con un humectante, siendo las cantidades en peso o proporciones e la mezcla resultante las siguientes: vaselina, 0 a 25%, alcohol graso insoluble en agua de C16-C22, 7 a 45%, emoliente, 0 a 15%, agentes emulsificantes, preferiblemente no iónicos, 4 a 16%, humectante, 7 a 40%, sulfadiazina de plata, 0,1 a 10%, agente de conservación, 0 a 0,3%, agua desionizada o destilada en cantidad suficiente hasta completar 100, y compuesto de cerio, 0,05 a 4%.
