Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de ácidos alquilcarboxílicos de la fórmula general I CnH2n+1COOH En la cual n representa un valor de entre 2 y 18, hidroformilando olefinas CnH2n con monóxido de carbono e hidrógeno a 80 a 200ºC y 80 a 600 bares en presencia de catalizadores de rodio y oxidando luego los aldehídos obtenidos en oxígeno o un gas conteniendo oxígeno, caracterizado porque la mezcla de reacción que se obtiene durante la hidroformilación se somete inmediatamente a la oxidación, se destila los ácidos carboxílicos de la mezcla así obtenida y se recicla el residuo de destilación difícilmente volátil, conteniendo rodio sin tratarlo ulteriormente a la etapa de hidroformilación.
