Abstract
Aparato para el almacenamiento compacto de una pluralidad de masas fisionables de tamaño y forma uniforme, las cuales tienen secciones transversales laterales que encajan con los confines de un polígono, estando constituido el aparato por una pluralidad de blindajes discretos absorbentes de neutrones, separados, cada uno de los cuales está adaptado para rodar perimétricamente a una de dichas masas fisionables de la pluralidad, caracterizado por una primera serie de miembros estructurales alineados en hileras paralelas separadas; una segunda serie de miembros estructurales alineados en hileras paralelas separadas, la cual cruza a la mencionada primera serie de miembros en ángulo igual al ángulo entre dos lados no paralelos de dicho polígono, formando tales primera y segunda series de miembros cruzados separados una pluralidad de pasajes transversales a dichas primera y segunda series de miembros; y estando cada uno de dichos blindajes situado en uno de tales pasajes, y estando rígidamente sujeto a un miembro de tales primera y segunda series.
