Abstract
Device, actuated by a key, to start and stop Diesel engines, in which a power regulation device supplied by the injection pump can move in the axial direction and take a rest position, which it causes to be supplied by the pump a supply corresponding to the minimum running, and two working positions, arranged at the ends of the path of said regulation apparatus, on opposite sides with respect to the rest position and corresponding respectively to the supply for cold starting and to the null supply, characterized by the fact that it comprises a lever that has an arm connected by a connecting rod to the regulating apparatus and the other arm subjected to the action of two opposed electromagnets, the first of which, when excited, rotates said lever in such a direction that it causes the said regulation apparatus to move to the position corresponding to the supply for cold start-up, while the second, when excited, rotates the lever in the opposite direction to that which precedes it and moves the regulating apparatus to the zero feeding position, the excitation of the one or from the other electromagnet, respectively by a first or a second pair of time relays whose excitation depends on the position of a four-position rotary switch, actuated by said key.
