Abstract

Un método de quemar materias primas pulverulentas en una instalación que comprende un precalentador de ciclones de ramas múltiples, un horno y una unidad enfriadora para enfriar el material quemado por medio de aire que es a continuación dividido en dos corrientes, una de las cuales se hace pasar a través del horno y hacia arriba por una rama de horno del precalentador, mientras que la otra corriente se hace pasar a través de un calcinador y hacia arriba por una rama de calcinador del precalentador; en el cual la materia prima a tratar se introduce en la parte superior de las ramas del precalentador, se calcina a continuación en el calcinador y finalmente se hace pasar al horno para su sinterización; y al menos parte del flujo de material procedente de la rama del calcinador se hace pasar al ciclón inferior de la rama del horno antes de ser alimentado al calcinador.
