Abstract
Procedure for obtaining derivatives of 1-phenoxy-3-amino-propan-2-ol, of general formula I ** (See formula) ** where A means -CH2-alkoxy, -O-alkoxyalkyl, -O-hydroxyalkyl, (see formula), R1 means hydrogen or methyl, (See formula) means a 5- or 6-membered monocyclic, aromatic or quasi-aromatic ring, linked through a carbon atom, with one or two nitrogen, oxygen and/or sulfur heteroatoms that, in addition, may be replaced by one or more methyl groups and R2 and R3 signify hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are linked and, if appropriate, a further oxygen or sulfur heteroatom, form a saturated heterocycle of 5 or 6 members, monocyclic, and the alkyl residues contain 1 to 4, the alkoxy residues 1 to 4, the alkenyl residues 3 or 4 and the cycloalkyl residues 5 to 7 carbon atoms; as well as its condensation products with aldehydes and acid addition salts; characterized in that a compound of general formula XXI, XXII or XXIII is hydrogenated ** (See formula) ** and because the compound obtained, if appropriate, is reacted with an aldehyde of formula R4-CHO where hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical with up to 4 carbon atoms means, to an oxazolidine of formula II ** (See formula) ** or optionally with an acid to an acid addition salt.
