Abstract
A device operated by a vehicle to generate presence data and/or direction and/or speed criteria in predetermined areas along tracks, where, in predetermined areas, the magnetic fields generated by transmitter coils powered by ac (alternating current) induce different amplitude and phase voltages in the receiver coils in response to vehicles moving through these areas. These voltages are processed by means of electronic evaluation devices in said criteria and data for vehicles.
