Abstract

Improvements in the circuits for flashing lights, of the kind that include terminals for connection to the light or lights that must act intermittently or "twinkle", actionable contact means to cause the flashing of said light or lights and a resistance in series with said contact means and through which, when said contact means are closed, a voltage is developed indicating the magnitude of the current circulation through the light or lights, characterized in that the circuit includes a light of warning, a transistor switch operable to cause the illumination of said warning light when said contact means are open, voltage sensing means to perceive the voltage developed through said resistance, a capacitor associated with said voltage sensing means and which it is loaded by the voltage sensing means in the event that the voltage across said resistance drops below a predetermined value when said contact means are closed, the voltage acting through said capacitor to prevent said transistor switch from working to cause illumination of the warning light when said contact means are open.
