Abstract

An improved drafting roller construction for drafting textile fibers and comprising an elongated supporting roller having an outside cylindrical surface and spaced annular grooves extending inwardly from the outside surface and a sleeve-like cot having an inside surface defined by a plurality of alternating channels and projections extending substantially along its full length with adhesive means between the inside and outside surfaces fixing the cot and roller together in a high-strength manner.
