Abstract
Procedimiento para la producción de un material de fricción auto-soportante, caracterizado porque comprende: (i) colocar en un molde dos capas sucesivas de material en forma de polvo, una adaptada para formar un forro de fricción, y la otra adaptada para formar una base unida al forro de fricción, siendo común a ambas capas un polvo metálico, sinterizable, resistente al desgaste, estando compuesta dicha primera capa de un porcentaje, en peso, inferior del polvo metálico que dicha segunda capa, y estando compuesta igualmente dicha primera capa de un aditivo compatible con el polvo metálico; (ii) consolidar las capas de polvo mediante la aplicación a las misma de una presión entre 200 y 800 mn/n2; y (iii) sinterizar las dos capas de polvo consolidadeas, bajo una atmósfera controlada, para formar un bloque monolítico .
