Abstract

Improvements in vehicle leveling systems provided with suspended and unsuspended parts, characterized in that each system comprises at least one automatic pressure actuated leveling strut to vary the position between the suspended and unsuspended parts of the vehicle, an electrically activated air compressor for supplying compressed air to said strut, a first circuit device comprising valve means for communicating compressed air between said compressor and said strut; a second circuit device for communicating electrical energy to said compressor from a source of said energy, and means responsive to the orientation of the suspended portion of the vehicle below a certain predetermined position to complete said second circuit device and thereby activate both said compressor, and that they are sensitive to the orientation of said suspended part of the vehicle above a certain predetermined position to open said valve means and put into communication said first circuit device with a relatively lower pressure condition.
