Abstract

Perfeccionamientos introducidos en granulador de alimentación de barrenas, caracterizado esencialmente porque comprende una barrena rotativa que tiene un tramo espiral que se extiende desde un eje central, cuya barrena hace avanzar el material termoplástico desde el extremo de carga de la barrena hasta su extremo de descarga, y un conjunto granulador dispuesto debajo del extremo de descarga de la barrena, incluyendo el conjunto granulador una cámara cortadora y una hoja cortadora rotativa, caracterizada en que un disco cortador está fijado en el extremo de descarga de la barrena, estado unido dicho disco al eje de la barrena y al terminal del tramo espiral para girar con ello, y en la que el conjunto granulador está dispuesto de forma que el extremo de la hoja cortadora describe un arco al girar que aproxima íntimamente el borde diámetrico del tramo espiral, con lo que se evita que el material termoplástico se enrolle o atasque en el extremo de descarga de la barrena, y el material es forzado efectivamente a entrar en contacto con las hojas cortadoras para ser granulado
